Attention Students:

  • It’s Future Frenzy Week!
    —Tomorrow is College/Trades/Military shirt day. Wear a shirt in support of your possible future plans and earn house points towards the year-long competition!
    —Mrs. Mueller will be in the cafeteria during lunch for you to work on applications, sending transcripts, resumes, FAFSA, job applications, and more. There might also be snacks involved! Seniors – stop by to fill out your “I Applied” cards for the hallway display!
    —Need help with yesterday’s military song? This branch of the military is known as “The Few. The Proud.” and is the smallest branch of the Department of Defense. These soldiers carry $14,000 of equipment on them for missions.
    —Concordia Fact of the Day: Did you know that you can earn your doctorate in Pharmacy or Physical Therapy from Concordia Mequon, all while living on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan? Check them out at www.cuw.edu.
  • Delta College has added a college visit for juniors and seniors interested in the general admissions process at Delta. Please sign up in Room 201 AND use the QR code to complete the survey before the start of the virtual visit. Please sign up by 4th hour today.
  • Key Club is selling Spooky Grams all this week Monday thru Thursday, and next week Monday and Tuesday. Spooky Grams are a great way to send your friends some candy and a laugh. They are $.50 and include a joke, a cute Halloween cut out, and of course, CANDY! They will be sold during lunch hours, and handed out on Thursday, October 29th.
  • For any girls interested in spring Softball, there will be a meeting today at 3:15pm in the gym.
  • Boosters are selling Charger face masks, hand made by Valley alum Katie Clare, for $10 each. Please see Mrs. Kelsey in the school office to purchase.
  • We have a 31 Bag with “Family Fun” embroidered on it left from the food drive. If it’s yours, please pick it up in the office!

  • Parents in Prayer are looking for more prayer troops to join us! We meet periodically on Wednesdays 8-9:30am in the Track Barn, the building at the north end of the football stadium. Our next meeting will be Oct. 28th. Please dress for the weather! Please direct any questions or prayer requests to Carla Belill at parentsinprayer@vlhs.com.
  • The Booster Club Fruit Sale supports many programs here at Valley. The sale runs thru Tuesday, November 10th, and all fruit is guaranteed. There will be prizes for students that sell at least 3 boxes! Orders can also be placed thru the office.
