Yes! Summer camps at Valley Lutheran are a ‘go’ for this summer!

Please see full details below for modified camp offerings, registration information, and important safety protocols.  Registration is open between July 1 and July 10 and all camps have a maximum number of allowed participants so please register early to claim your spot!

2020 Camp Schedule

July 13-16  (Mon.-Thurs., Friday 17th is a rain make-up day)

Sports Sampler!  $35

  • Age: Entering grades 5th-8th
  • Time: 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.
  • Description: Campers will experience four different sports as they rotate daily through sessions of basketball, volleyball, track, and ultimate frisbee.  Each day is a different sport!  Appropriately sized coed groups will travel together through the week.  All programs will be held outdoors.

July 20 -23 (Mon. –Thurs., Friday 24th is a rain make-up day)

Art Camp $40

  • Age: Entering 5-8th grade
  • Time: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
  • Max: 16
  • Camp will be held outdoors.
  • Led by: Connie Wollenweber, Art teacher at Peace Lutheran

Baseball Camp $30

  • Age: Entering 5-8th grade
  • Time: 10:30 a.m. –  12:30 p.m.
  • Campers should bring their own glove, helmet, and bat if they own them.
  • Led by: Kurt Hofmeister, VLHS Baseball coach

Dance Camp: Liturgical Dance $35

  • Age: Girls entering 4-9th grade
  • Time: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
  • Description: Girls will learn the different skills and techniques of dance as well as how dance is a form of worship. There will be a short performance on the last day of camp.  NOTE: Campers should be comfortable being barefoot in grass as this camp will be held outdoors.

  • Led by: Isabel Schmitt, Girls of Grace dance instructor and choreographer

The health and safety of our campers and leaders is always important, but especially in this year.  Please review, print, and sign our Valley Lutheran Summer Camps Protocols.  Form must be turned in on the first day of the camp week.

During registration you will be asked to acknowledge receipt of the information regarding concussions available here: Required Concussion Information.

    • mailed to VLHS Summer Programs, 3560 McCarty Road, Saginaw, MI 48603 or brought on the first day of camp
  • By PayPal (using the button below)
    • NOTE: As camps vary in price please enter total camp fees in the ‘Price Per Item’ box and leave the Quantity at ‘1’.
    • A $3 service fee is added to each PayPal transaction.



    Additional Camp Information

    • All campers will receive a t-shirt.  Given the quick turn-around this year shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed.
    • All of this year’s programming will be held outside.  The Friday of each week is scheduled as a rain make-up day if needed.
    • If camp needs to be cancelled for rain families will receive an email sent to the address provided at registration.
