This Friday is a first for Valley Lutheran High School.  It is the first time a Valley Lutheran team will compete in a noon state semi-final game. Valley defeated Lutheran High Northwest in three games in the Division 3 quarterfinals on Tuesday, Nov. 19 to advance to the semi-finals.

The fan support has been so great that it would make it difficult to have a productive day of classes on Friday, so classes for Fri., Nov. 22 have been canceled. Instead, through the support of a generous benefactor, students have the opportunity to travel on a fan bus to Battle Creek to watch their Varsity players battle against Schoolcraft. Should Valley win Friday, they will play for the state championship on Saturday, November 23.

Mlive had fantastic coverage and photos from the game, so click on this link to read more (this will reroute you out of Valley Lutheran’s website to mlive).
