Music - Program Description

Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,

praise him with tambourine and dancing,
praise him with the strings and flute,

praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.

Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD.

- Psalm 150:3-5

God's people have been encouraged to praise him with song and musical instruments since the days of King David. Building on this foundation, the Valley Lutheran music department seeks to provide students with a variety of opportunities while exploring and expanding their own abilities.

Highlighting this focus on worship is the annual Lenten Tour. Each year the Symphonic Band and Golden Voice tour the Midwest sharing God's love through music.
